Ask me a hundred times and my answer will remain the same. Call it an addiction, call it an obsession but it certainly doesn't change anything.
Many think that majority of girls love K-drama, oh well, 80% of the ladies love it and the other 20% are guys but I still know girls who don't love it as much, they are so satisfied and happy seeing Nollywood and the rest, don't blame them, it's individual choices and like for something, it differs so it's okay.
But mine remains the same and it hasn't changed since then. It seems I was infected from birth to love and enjoy K-dramas, I don't just know but that's how it has been. I don't mind spending hours watching episodes after episodes, it's not something I can do with any other genre of movie, Nollywood movies isn't even an option for me, I don't fancy or enjoy it for anything, sorry but the industry is trying their best but I am not easily intrigued or captivated as I am with K-dramas, and that's where individual taste comes in. My good taste is with K-dramas and not Nollywood movies and if you hear me talk about K-dramas, you will think I am obsessed with it but do I care? Of course not even one bit.
Why Do I Love It This Much?
If I say I don't know but I just love it then I probably would be lying. I love everything about them in particular, their language, their dress cent, their skin, their beauty, their conduct, and just their way of living, at least the one portrayed on the screen for us to watch and not really what we don't know behind the scenes.
K-dramas makes love, friendship, relationship seems loveable and interesting. They have a way of capturing and captivating one's mind, thinking and actions.
Seeing K-dramas unconsciously makes me think and see things differently.
Watching them live a life on the screen makes me happy, it widens my imaginations, my longing for more.
Even a few of their film tricks seems very interesting and I don't really care if they aren't real and just acting, it feels real and looks real to me.
And if I am given a chance to choose between them and others, I will choose them over and over again. And I don't mind doing that a thousand times. This is how much I love Korean movies and this love can never be diluted.
