I read a great post by @simplymike about limits here https://steemit.com/life/@simplymike/we-can-t-have-it-all-or-can-we#@zekepickleman/zekepickleman-re-simplymike-we-can-t-have-it-all-or-can-we-20190624t180343733z. Limits to anyone’s potential.
Seemed like the conversation reminded me of some truths (as I have come to know them.). Makes for a good match with the steem movement we were discussing on the #pypt show. I think it was @thekittygirl who discussed the #thoughfuldailypost message tag originally launched by
@wesphilbin and showcased her post https://partiko.app/@thekittygirl/thoughtful-daily-post?referrer=zekepickleman . Positive message on the blockchain is my jam!
I like to qualify success as what you can do rather than what that gets you. So when talking about limits, there are limits we place on our ability to achieve something.
The easy one is that as soon as we can avoid focusing upon our weaknesses and coming up with reasons we can’t than we can begin to ... can. ;)
One to add to that is that you make the most progress, build the most character, and become extraordinary when you are out of your comfort zone.
If you want something, go ask someone who has done it, ask them how to do it, and do that (with your own flare.)
So, the Zeke’s notes/tldr version is: With passion, humility and confidence you gain the ability to set your own limits. Just use the lessons others have learned to make your own better mistakes and get ‘er done.
Write your own #thoughtfuldailypost with the tag and @shadowspub will throw you some shade at you when up pimp it next Thursday on The Ramble #pypt discord show https://discord.gg/D22bNc
