Hive is finally climbing to the place it should be and I will simply post a #ThoughfulDailyPost like I did when Hive was $.12. wesphilbin@wesphilbin waves the flag for us and has created thoughtfulposts@thoughtfulposts as the curation account to whom we have delegated to boost its power to reward thoughtful posts.

I invite you to pen your post and share in my musings and the loosely-related music I would pair with each.

Control

https://www.instagram.com/astoicsfeed/ has a huge collection of memes that would be a nice fit for #thoughtfuldailypost and I will POSH them on that vastly popular yet centralized platform. Worth a follow if you consume and curate there but I much prefer #hive.

I have been saying, "I am too lazy to spend too much time worrying about the things I cannot control" for decades. It was more about the futile effort than it was time. Time has appreciated in value for me as the years pass so this seems a little heavier. Especially when I realized I only have 16 or so summers of childhood fun to share with my kids.

Mix a little "it is what it is" with some mental discipline and you can not only dwell on the solutions (rather than problems) but you will quickly move on to focus on the things we can control. Much better use of effort, emotion, time and passion.

Control! How about a little nu-metal that is now over a decade old?

I am not sure where this one came from so I cannot credit it but a great message.

We have all had our traumas. I am just coming to terms that there is a wide range of trauma severity, we all have different levels of ability to deal with it and varying grades of armour to fend of its impact. We are a sum of our experiences and upbringing but there is more to it than that.

I love how this statement takes the control back from the trauma, and credit for endurance and progress comes back to us individually. We should not celebrate the trauma itself but the test it gives us and the opportunity for growth it presents. We have the power to turn a negative into a positive, or at least use our scars as texture for the tattoos we get.

The trauma doesn't define me. I define me and use it as fuel to become better, stronger and happier. BRING IT!

Bring it on home to me. Van Morrison is such a one-of-a-kind treasure. Love the new live stuff from the dusty old favourites who keep going.

This movement continues to gain momentum and now as it is being curated by thoughtfulposts@thoughtfulposts to whom I have delegated some #hive @thoughtfulposts/thoughtfulposts-introduction-or-a-thoughtfuldailypost is where you can get the details and please consider delegating to help make positivity extra rewarding.

I invite you to pen your own #thoughtfuldailypost any day of the week and spill your wisdom on the world via the blockchain.
