You used to be able to set your watch by the consistency of the Weekly Zekely. It has taken a little more relaxed cadence because of strange times. Still, I like to take a look back to reflect on memories & experiences to share with the Hive community for inspiring conversation and gigantic crypto rewards. If you are new here, welcome to my life.

I get to pick the greatest hits from my camera role as it fells like quite a bit has happened in 12 days. Looks like we are mixing business with pleasure, and music with BEER!

Charity

I have to start with business because it does take up quite a bit of my time. The good news is that I get to choose our clients as I drive the ship which lands me in some pretty fun places. Another benefit is that I get to lean some effort into charitable organizations like the local multicultural association https://maph.ca and attend small press release breakfasts. This one was to announce the intent to help the estimated 42 Ukrainian families anticipated to be riving in our region.

Work/Fun

Speaking of work, this may not seem like it but you will have to take my word for it. If you want the full story, there is still time time to catch it here @zekepickleman/my-view-at-the-office The abridged version is I am occasionally a guest bartender for busy events and one of my favourite places in town https://revival.house Doesn't seem like work when there is live music on stage and the owners are good friends. They are also clients of our company https://towncriermarketing.ca and I am hoping to dedicate more attention to town-crier@town-crier and marketing on the blockchain.

Here is one of the drinks we were mixing. Espresso martini garnished by locally roasted beans from another client https://stratfordcoffee.com I purposely drop these back links because they are duplicated on every front end of this blockchain, google likes this and it is another obscure way that this blockchain kicks ass for small business marketing. We ran a report on a client who realised they were not ranking well on google backlink scores and found the biggest source was from a post we made one time over a year ago. They are clients now. ;)

Music!

IMG_3705.jpg

Enough of this work shit it is time to rock n roll. With the easing of restrictions comes the return of events. One of my favourite events of the year is the hockey tournament of the arts where you are required to perform on stage or present some sort of artistic exhibit in order to participate. Our team has performed the stage bit for 15 years or so and are back in the studio to build a Huey Lewis tribute act. That should be a fun story to follow and we are only a month away til the date of the show.

BEER!

IMG_3709.jpg

As the blockchain beerologist, I couldn't sign off without sharing a brew. This one may make it onto this weekend's edition of Beer Saturday. If you don't know what that is, well, you should check out my buddy detlev@detlev's blog, pull yourself a pint, and create your own #beersaturday post.

Covid Update

IMG_3663.jpg

Mask Mandates in most businesses are set to lift on March 21st. Seems strange when we were locked down for a few weeks only a month and a bit ago. I don't make the rules and am wondering how daft you would be to be confident in political leadership in these parts. Either way, we are either headed to another wave of infections when people are no longer careful enough not to flood the underfunded hospital system, or we are charging headlong back to normal. Might be too good to be true but I am leaning into it and scooping up overdue fun.

Thanks for checking in catching up on another couple winter weeks of the year of awesome!
