I think you would have to be a sociopath to stay stoic in that period of transition and turmoil. If you figure out how to do that, let me know!
Many of these things get to us even though they shouldn’t simply because we care. Caring is our connection to this universe and really is a superpower so we should not stop.
What we should do is know that we can only care about so many things before they get too numerous to care for ourselves and the things that really matter. So, when some dumbass that throws tantrums (bosses, clients, people that disqualify themselves from deserving our care) are living rent free in our minds, it can be as simple as saying to ourselves “nah that doesn’t matter and should only take up my attention if it is entertaining or I can learn from it. “
Enjoy the change of scenery and the reset you get to do with a leader that behaves more like one.
