I miss golf. I long for the warm days where we can work a good week and knock off Friday for a 4-hour business meeting. Automatic 10k @actifit steps, fresh air, fun and maybe a beer or 2.

This is what it looks like now however. We are in the middle of 6 months of extreme golfing or flying somewhere south to get a few rounds in. In addition to that, there has been a month-long lockdown that closed the indoor golfing places. Looks like I am shit outta luck.

The good news is that the restrictions have lifted and businesses have suddenly been cleared to open at 50% capacity despite the highest new case rate in the pandemic. Friends like https://stmarysgolf.com/ have had a tough go of it but are making the best of it. I suppose working at a place with unused virtual golf machines could have its perks?

Still, there is nothing like chopping a big beaver and spinning a Titleist so hard it jumps back a couple feet when it hits the green.





This is what most golf courses in Canada look like now and through the winter months. What to do?

Maybe just take a look through the pictures and exist on the warmth of memories 'til May? It is still January! Screw that!






How about we arrange a meeting at one of these clients...you know...who have an indoor golf simulator? Let's go golfing in Hawaii and kill a bunch of birds with one stone.



Shall we add a couple IPAs to the experience to make it authentic?

Might as well stop after the first 9 and enjoy a freshly broiled burger and signature onion rings!

A fantastic opportunity to golf a full 18 on the clock when it was closed to the public. Might keep us warm for a few months? Might have to do it again a few times now that we have an arrangement.
