With all of the people fighting through lockdowns, missing relatives and avoiding travel, what better adventure to share than a trip to the beach? Hopefully this warms your day a percentage of what it would if you were with me.
Today, we are heading to Punta Venado that is maybe 20 minutes by car south of Playa del Carmen. Our guide told us that venado means deer 馃 so this venue may be loosely translated to deer point? No deer to be seen but the place is fantastic.
It has been a long week of training jiu jitsu, adventuring, and late night parties so I was perfectly happy to relax under the trees and recover a bit. A couple fruity rum drinks and a little nap was ideal.
I awoke from my nap to some delicious tuna tostadas for a little late lunch. 
The water was like a nice warm hug and hanging out with new friends in this exotic destination is jut what the doctor ordered. I hope you can enjoy a getaway to somewhere warm soon too. If not, drop me a follow for more chapters of this adventure over the next while.
