We have been learning about the words of Christ I Thank God for giving me and other Mcgi members to be part of todays mcgi cares live The teaching has been expository, I thank God for using bro Elisoriano and bro Daniel who started with the in-depth teaching about alcohol and also giving.
LESSON FROM THE TEACHINGS.
In todays teachings in the mcgi cares live I learnt about drinking and taking other toxic materials into the body.
No one can change us it is only God that can. A mans heart is directed by God.I learnt that addiction and depression amongst people in the world is much. So many people abuse hard drugs and alcohol all over the world. We also learnt about the negative effect. Alcohol is toxic to the body and it stresses the liver so much especially in metabolism it brings upon addiction to the body. I was also made to understand that if you don't want to be a drunkard, then do not taste it.
I learnt that nicotine also makes our vains weak causing anurism to the vain. All these has toxic effect to the body which is totally prohibited by the bible. As Christians we should not drink.
I also learnt that it is a personal decision one have to make. once you have made up your mind, you can stop it. It all depends on oneself. Love ones can stop smoking or drinking for the sake of other Loved ones
I also learnt that When I see a drunkard or a smoker, all I will do is keep praying for that fellow to stop. Because I may not be able to stop him or her. But my prayers to God can do so.
I learnt that If you meet an opportunity to do good, it means God is talking to you. Cease that time and opportunity to do the good deed.
IMPACT OF TEACHINGS ON MY LIFE.
In my daily life as a christian I usually believe too much of everything is not good so I use to think taking alcohol isn't bad but now I understand it causes harm no matter how small and as christians it is prohibited.
Secondly I never know the deep effects of hard drugs on the health until now. It has opened my eyes to deeper knowledge so I have to look out for my loved ones and others so I stop them on time from addiction to drugs.
