Friends, fraudulent activities in credit card and debit card are common these days. It is important to remember that never share your personal information to unknown. Reason of writing this post is to make you aware of this scam. May be you will be aware of this scam but it may help people who are unaware of the scam.
Incident happened with my friend. He received a phone call from the bank representative. Caller asked him that your debit card is not verified and it may be blocked any time if you don't verify your account right now. My friend believe in caller statement as he was calling him by his name name. He shared card number and expiry date with the caller. In next step, the caller asked for the CVV code. Asking CVV code created doubt in his mind and he didn't tell the CVV code despite asking several time as a result his account remained safe. This fraud is so common these days but still people easily fell in trap as a result they deprived from hard earned money.
This incident give us lesson that never share your personal information to any unknown caller. It may hurt you badly. Your awareness may help to save you from big loss. Keep sharing such information to community member as it may save some one from scam. What is your opinion my friends?
