Today virtual reality seems to have its limits. But the future of virtual reality is a bright one. It will be everywhere it'll be in your homes in the stores it will be on your PC whenever you access the internet you won't be looking at a flat a screen you'll be looking through glasses probably the size of your sunglasses.
Currently the headset systems are large and clunky sometimes heavy and uncomfortable. the wearer can only stand so many minutes in it at a time. really I can only do about 30 minutes and then I need to take the headset off.
But as we all know technology gets smaller soon within the next 5 to 10 years the technology for having 8K display in something the size of sunglasses will be available.
The new technology will likely be more of an AR experience or altered reality experience. where you can see everything in real life around you. the glasses will overlay a program over your vision allowing you to see things that aren't really there it should give you information for your daily life. your bank account your heart rate how many calories you have burned your schedule map of the city whatever you can dream of.
I can see walking into a store putting on my glasses and it would sync automatically to the stores computer system. which already knows everything about you. what you buy on a usual bases and what sections of the store you like. I can see the glasses showing you a preview of the item you want to buy. and allowing you to handle it. To see how it works before you buy it. I think this is a great idea truly interactive and fun for the consumer. These are just a few ideas I have about virtual reality and its future I'm really excited to see what it brings to us 10 years from now I have high hopes!
