today I decided to review nice hash what do I think about it? Well to be honest I think it's a great little program. I used my GTX 1080 graphics card to mine about $0.50 worth of BTC. Yes it took about 6 or7 hours to do so. But it does work well.
I didn't have any crashes I didn't fry my GPU as far as I can tell. my gpu is used mainly for virtual reality gaming.
I'v been doing a lot of research on bitcoin I have a much better understanding now especially reading all the really good blogs and posts. I would definitely recommend nicehash for anybody that wants to do a little bit of Mining and just have a little bit of fun doing so.
the electricity I used mining that $0.50 is obscene. My GPU was functioning at 89c and 90 being threshold and that was the whole time.
so I think that I've really broken in my GPU by now.
It's pretty simple though you go to nicehash. You choose the correct executable file for your operating system and download it. Next you want to find a wallet a Bitcoin wallet that you would like to have I went to btc.com and downloaded the wallet for my PC and for the Android phone I use. But remember that nice hash takes 5% of earnings so right there my $0.50 has dwindled also I don't think I mined enough to actually get it to transfer into my wallet once they do the payout. but that's okay I was just trying to have a little fun bit mining. Now that I have a better understanding of what's going on I got together with a colleague of mine and we're discussing building in mining system an entire room full of miners. We want to do something cool like go completely off the grid.
the whole room will be using solar power and I don't know how feasible this is but I think it's doable.
this way it will cut our costs and it should be all profit.
I will keep the steam it community updated because as soon as I start a project I'm not done until I finish it.
but right now it's in the idea phase and I will keep everyone posted as to how this project goes in the future thank you for reading and zardoz out...
