I came to steamit and Dtube because it was decentralized I thought uncensored.
I really don't have much of an issue with DTube I do like it.
it's just that I thought we could put up anything we wanted and we wouldn't have to worry about censorship and the only way they can shut it down as a shut down the entire internet.
isn't that part of decentralization?
I found out just recently that they do sensor video they do sensor content. Today as I was going through my blogs and my videos which by the way nobody looks at or upvotes or comments upon I noticed that four of them we're hidden the reason for hiding them it says it was because of low ratings.
they were three films that I put up very low quality films. The quality was so low they would only look good on your phone but I know this was done because they are copyrighted. I understand Dtube's fear being shut down.
But if they censor video and content then are they any better than YouTube?
You be the judge. I've searched for ways to erase the videos that they don't like and I just won't put any more up like that.
but they don't have away from me to erase them if they would give me that option I would definitely do so.
my apologies to do DTube but it would seem that you are not as decentralized as everybody thinks you are. or as you claim to be.
thanks for listening everyone zardoz out...
