What is the Low Hanging Fruit?

Simply put, it is interesting to see what happens to card levels on a daily basis. Since this post here I will now be recording and discussing the values of various cards. Originally @irisworld and I remarked that the price of the Venari Heatsmith is really low as a value to earn from a reward but that we will be seeing how it goes after a year!

My friend @joetunex suggested I move this post to Leo Finance. Let's see how that goes. After all, I am tracking my crypto rewards and the values of the NFTs in splinterlands. So I will be using those tags as well!

Usually, I will be focussing on the cheapest card in each edition of cards, but as I go along I may begin to track and check more cards. Thus, this is not just any old template post but instead becomes a template that grows every time I post it!

I feel that the bottom of the list is more important than what is happening at the top of the market. The top of the market sometimes has a price that is far too high and nobody is going to buy it. But the bottom of the list gets bought up all the time.

SPS is holding strong. Let's look at what the card values are doing.

As promised, here is the first graph - that of the infamous Venari Heatsmith!

There was actually a steady up and down but at the end of this new season it seems as though fireking and jk6618 are dumping large amounts of these cards on the market. To me, this just spells an opportunity to max out those cards!

The cheapest cards of the day ranging from $0.018 till $0.020 are still the usual suspects: The CHEAP SIX: the Pelacor Deceiver, Gargoya Lion, Venari Heatsmith, Pelacor Mercenary, Pelacor Conjurer and Pelacor Bandit.

Thus they are much cheaper than yesterday.

On the special watchlist, the Venari Heatsmith is still: $0.018.

Meanwhile, the cheapest cards in other sets are:

• The cheapest Chaos Legion card is the Gargoya Scrapper at $0.048.
• The cheapest Untamed era Reward card is the Chain Spinner at $0.093.
• The cheapest Untamed card right now is Biceratops at $0.119.
• The cheapest Dice card is Marrow's Ghost at $0.146.
• The Cheapest Beta era reward card is the Highland Archer at $0.174.
• The Cheapest Beta card is a Silvershield Warrior at $0.256.
• The Cheapest Alpha card is a Animated Corpse at $1.053.

Right so our Cheap Six Chaos Legion Reward cards have gone down dramatically.
The cheapest Chaos Legion card went up $0.001.
The cheapest Untamed Reward card is the Chain Spinner again, now much cheaper.
The cheapest Untamed Card has gone down by a lot again! Opportunity!
The cheapest Dice card is down a lot! Opportunity!
The cheapest Beta era Reward went down nearly by half, Highland Archer is down at the bottom with many other cards cheaper than I have ever recorded in the 10 days of record keeping!
The cheapest Beta card went down by a lot as well!
The cheapest Alpha changed to Animated corpse and is much much cheaper as well!

All over, these are crazy prices! They are just cheaper and cheaper! What are people sending their money on? Why are they dumping cards?

Rare cards

Right, let's see how the Rare cards are looking...

• The Cheapest Chaos Legion Reward Card is the Gargoya Devil at $0.060.
• The Cheapest Chaos Legion Card is the Goblin Tower at $0.101.
• The cheapest Untamed era Reward card is the Temple Priest at $0.300.
• The cheapest Untamed card right now is Giant Squid at $0.413.
• The Cheapest Beta era reward card is the Gremlin Blaster at $0.536.
• The Cheapest Beta card is a Stone Golem at $1.087.
• The cheapest Dice card is Vera Salacia at $2.400.
• The Cheapest Alpha card is a Clay Golem at $2.384.

Chaos Legion Rewards went down $0.005
Chaos Legion stayed the same.
Untamed Rewards went down $0.034
Untamed went down.
Beta Rewards went down.
Beta went down considerably!
Dice went down.
Alpha went down considerably! And it is the Clay Golem.

So here we see the cheaper Rare cars retaining value or staying the same, the expencive cards went down in price.

Guys, if you intent on staying in the game, the CP gain opportunity and card levelling opportunity right now is huge!

Epic

The Cheapest Epic card in the game is the Lava Launcher at $0.352. This went UP. So Common and Rares seemed to get a big drop but the bottom of Epic is UP. Strange, perhaps I should have been checking these per edition as well? What do you think?

Legendary

The Cheapest Legendary card in the game is Harklaw today at $1.800. This went down again

We are in the golden age of opportunity! Grab what you can guys! Soon they will all go up again!

Perhaps... I have only been logging these for 10 days. I have not even been looking at prices for a full season or a calendar month. So let's see what the values do over time!

Today, at the time of this writing SPS now at $0.131. Up $0.001.

So with the news of SPS Validators MIGHT be the reason the lower level cards are being flogged... $59,908 traffic on SPS in the last 24 hours on Hive Engine... perhaps... Time will tell. It looks fairly expensive to be a part of THAT crowd. If you have 100,000 SPS or so, maybe more in reach.

I have learned to go for what you can, grow and bide your time! Don't let FOMO control you and make you bail too hard on things! Like cards... Hehehe.

My Alpha, Beta and Reward cards were once worth less than $200, they had dropped from $600+, then I log on years later and they are $2000, then $6000 and are still in excess of $8000.

Bide your time and keep collecting those rewards. Play to earn!

DEC Goals!

Saving for something nice...

I am actually keeping ALL the savings I need to fix my car in DEC now. The goal is $100. Making up rent money due to the car breakdown I had to pay for.

42,586 DEC collected Est Value: $70,52.

Seems that end of season the DEC value drops. I will keep it there for a bit still, holding my SPS gains high. Always long term thinking over here!

I will only need the cash for the rent towards the end of the current season so we will just keep watching it!

So much to process here! I need to look at cards I can potentially max or fill up to the next level up that are a good investment!

I have a total of 275,470 CP! Hmmmmmm.
