So what happens to my new but lovely veggie garden when I go working at the docks for 12 hours a day?

There is a certain chance of neglect, because I am tired and short on time. I do however go out early morning or in the evening to water my plants. This should actually be the best time, since it allows the water to seep into the soil and not evaporate.

My plants are doing fine, although there is a bit of WORK that needs to be done!

The tomatoes are done and the purslane, intentionally, is growing rampant. Soon I shall make the fermentedphil@fermentedphil style chutney!

Here is a camera roll of what's going on in the garden:

Overview

Need to plant new veggies here.

The herb squad

I am letting one set of basil go to seed so I can learn how to collect.

Going to remove these tomatoes this weekend.

Mint, growing like a boss.

The purslane farm!

I have lots of building materials!

Young compost.

Branches need to be cut up.

Mature compost.

I have something on tomorrow (Saturday) so I shall likely do a bunch of gardening on Sunday!

Thank you for visiting my garden!

Cheers!
