So first thing this morning Zane Alexander decided to run with his new ball. He loves this ball, it's light enough for him to pick up and throw or kick. Plus it doesn't destroy the house like other projectiles.

Only this morning he tripped and bounced off it smacking his face into the ground.

Saddest face ever (gonna trip on that lip). I know some of you may be thinking why did you take a picture of this instead of console your child? Well this picture was not taken when he did the first spill, or even the second. No this picture was taken about an hour later. Of course I picked him up and kissed him and told him it would be okay. Both times. The reason why he's upset in this picture.

And this one. I asked him to stand still so I could take a picture of his bruised face. He's fine now. Back to playing with his ball again.

Life is like a wave, it goes up and down. Sometimes it's joyful and sometimes it's painful. You just have to dust yourself off, let your dad take a photo of you for his blog and keep on playing. Thank you Zane for reminding me of that.
