I did this piece to juxtapose the fierceness and delicate beauty of women. She is a warrior but she has a delicate face with this leopard head headdress. I wanted her to almost have a doll like quality to her features to offset the intensity of the leopards eyes. I really enjoyed making this piece. Here are a few of the work in progress shots as well.
