I love Saturdays because, although I don't like to go out partying, I do take the opportunity to do something different at home, with my family. A barbecue, music to taste and some cold beers in the fridge. This for me is more satisfying than any outing or event outside the home.

On this occasion, we opted for a beer made in Guyana and I am referring to: 592 Lager Beer, which is soft on the palate, with 5% alcohol and a certain spiciness when it is very cold.

Guyanese say that this beer represents the spirit of Guyana and that it is even marketed during the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Guyana with a special logo.

It is, in my humble opinion, one of the least bitter, unlike, for example, Banks Beer, the country's national beer that is very popular among Guyanese, but which has a strong, dry bitter taste. Without a doubt I would always choose 592 Lager Beer to spend an afternoon with the family.

Between conversations, breaks for dancing, chicken and tostones, we drank almost 10 beers each. Here I leave proof of mine.

Amo los sábados porque, aunque no me gusta salir de fiesta, sí aprovecho para hacer algo distinto en mi hogar, con mi familia. Un asadito, música al gusto y algunas cervezas bien frías en la nevera. Esto para mí es más satisfactorio que cualquiera salida o evento, fuera de casa.

En esta ocasión, nos decantamos por una cerveza hecha en Guyana y me refiero a la: 592 Lager Beer, la cual es suave al paladar, con un 5% de alcohol y cierto picor cuando está bien fría.

Los guyanenses cuentan que esta cerveza representa el espíritu de Guyana y que, incluso, se comercializa durante la celebración del Jubileo de Oro de Guyana con un logo especial.

Es, en mi humilde opinión, una de las menos amargas, a diferencia, por ejemplo, de la Banks Beer, cerveza nacional del país que resulta muy popular entre los guyanenses, pero que tiene un fuerte y seco sabor amargo. Sin lugar a dudas elegiría siempre la 592 Lager Beer para pasar una tarde en familia.

Entre conversaciones, pausas para la bailada, la picada de pollo y tostones, bebimos casi 10 cervezas cada uno. Aquí dejo prueba de las mías.
