I had a dream just this morning and it showed me where we have and I have gone wrong. Social media has taken the whole of our time and its making us lose those who truly care about us and those we love. We are so assured that no matter what happens,the person will always understand but it is not so in all cases. I dreamt about a girl whom I once had a crush on during my service to my nation but it didn’t pull through because I didn’t put or dedicate my whole time to get her or date. I loved her Yes but I handled everything on a friendship base. I dreamt we were dating and still wasn’t giving her the attention she needed. I was sending her money and recharge card and somewhere in the dream, I bumped into her and she returned the things I sent her and I was shocked and even asked if she had load the recharge and she said No. She told me that I don’t call on phone and I can’t get through to her cos of things I send, the way I handle her by giving her attention matters a lot.

I woke up wondering and I can say I have a bad habit of not calling people,I feel everything will take care of itself. This made me realize that most relationship and friendship are lost because we ain’t giving the one we love attention or care, people are getting depressed and suicide rate is increasing,a lot of people won’t think of killing themselves if there is someone who stands with them both in good and bad times.
We can have a better communication by checking on those we truly care about by always calling, no matter the distance. Someone out there needs your attention. Reach out to that person today
