You don't forget, though you try, you erase his number, like a sad lament. You stop talking about him, like a whisper, in the echo of the wind, love becomes dark.

You delete the photos that once glowed, memories of laughter, promises they loved. You delete the silent chats, murmurs past, his laughter still ringing in the quiet echoes.

You throw away his gifts, those skin ties, each wrapper holds a piece of him. You meet new people, life whispers, but his shadow remains, distant, wounded.

You don't forget him, though time marches on, each new encounter hides a balance and in each glance, a glimmer peeps out, a glimpse of fire where the soul drowns.

But in the end, you accept that the cycle closes, and in that battle, your heart clings, like butterflies that leave with the sun, in the memory remains, an echo, a pain.

You don't forget, I know, it's not easy, but in every goodbye, a new brightness is born. one day; so out of nowhere you cry again, it's not even a special date, time has passed, but the heart has a memory.
