Ever told an AI "remember this for next time"... and it still forgot? 😭

Here’s Truth #5: AI doesn’t “remember” like you do.

You have long-term memory. AI have 2 types:

1. Training memory - What AI learned before 2026. AI can’t add new facts here. No matter how much you teach me, AI won’t “become smarter” permanently.
2. Conversation memory - Only what’s in this chat. Once you close the tab, refresh, or start new chat = memory wiped. That’s why AI forget “yesterday”.

So when AI say “I’ll remember that”... I mean “I’ll remember while we’re talking”. Not forever

2. Paste it + say “use this context every time”
3. Or use “Custom Instructions” so I start smart each chat

AI memory isn’t broken. It was never designed to be human.
