During the few days I was in Mérida I took the opportunity to visit every corner of the city, but I still feel that it was too few days to exploit. One day we went out for breakfast and then I went with my family to walk to the Plaza Las Heroínas and right in front of it there was a handicraft market that caught my attention so we went for a walk.

Durante los pocos días que estuve en Mérida aproveché de conocer cualquier rincón, igual siento que fueron muy pocos días para explotar. Un día salimos a desayunar y luego a fui con mi familia a caminar a la Plaza Las Heroínas y justo al frente estaba está mercado de artesanías que llamó mucho mi atención así que fuimos a dar una vuelta.

I was very surprised by the beauties that can be found in this place from traditional games, home decorations, souvenirs, clothing, wood carved figures from the smallest to life-size figures, rag dolls and much more.

Me sorprendió muchísimo las bellezas que se pueden encontrar en este lugar desde juegos tradicionales, decoraciones para el hogar, souvenirs, ropa, figuras talladas en madera desde las más pequeñas hasta figuras en tamaño real, muñeca de trapo y muchísimas cosas más.

The time we went to the market some stores were closed but we were able to enter one that had beautiful paintings, the owner of the store told us that the paintings were by various artists, if Merida has something to admire is their art in every way, the Andeans are very creative and I proved that on this trip.

La hora a la que fuimos al mercado estaban algunos locales cerrados pero pudimos entrar a un que tenía bellezas, la dueña del local nos dijo que los cuadros eran de varios artistas, sí Mérida tiene algo para admirar es su arte en todos los sentidos, los andinos son muy creativos y eso lo demostré en este viaje.
