Hello, all internet friends
Teachers are unsung heroes because they are not recognized as national heroes of a nation's independence. Sometimes I wonder, deep down, what would I be like if there were no teachers to teach me? Would all knowledge come naturally without any learning process? Perhaps I could answer that it's impossible, but if it were inspiration or destiny from the Creator, then yes, it could be. But in essence, if there were no teachers to teach us, we would always be in ignorance.
In my area, teachers are highly revered and respected. I personally still respect my teachers to this day. When I meet them, I always greet them, shake their hands, and respect them, whether they are religious teachers or school teachers. When I was my age, we were very afraid, afraid, and obedient to teachers. As a result, all the lessons our teachers taught remain in our minds, and we also deeply respect teachers even outside of school, because they always instill moral and ethical values in their students. We may not have been as intelligent and sophisticated as today's children, but all the knowledge our teachers imparted was a blessing because we upheld politeness and good character.
In stark contrast to today, I see teachers today becoming increasingly indifferent to their students both inside and outside of school. They seem to be teaching their students solely to meet their screen time. After class, it's as if teachers no longer care about their students' intelligence and achievements. Outside of school, teachers are also reluctant to interact with students and no longer reprimand students who misbehave.
It turns out that teachers today are becoming increasingly apathetic toward their students. In the past, teachers would visit students' homes if they were absent for three consecutive days, whether for illness or other reasons. They deeply cared for their students and would find ways to help them excel and excel. Furthermore, teachers in the past would punish students who misbehaved and didn't do their homework. Furthermore, parents in the past were very supportive of teachers' actions to ensure their children's success. They also highly respected teachers, setting good examples for their children.
As time progresses and technology advances, the harmony and affection between teachers and students are diminishing. We often see teachers receiving mistreatment from parents on social media, even... Those who prosecute teachers for reprimanding their children for being disrespectful. The arrogant parents, unwilling to accept the reprimand, filed criminal charges against the teachers. There are also more tragic incidents where teachers are approached by parents and threatened to kill them if they forbid their children from behaving disrespectfully. These are examples of inappropriate behavior by parents.
To prevent negative consequences, teachers no longer care much about student achievement. The negative impact is that students only receive lessons at school, leaving the rest to their own devices. There is no protection after school hours. Teachers also do not reprimand students for misbehavior outside of school. There are no longer any punishments or fines for students who refuse to study. Misbehavior and not doing homework are now completely free. School rules are merely a mere display, and teachers cannot truly limit or impose punishments. All sanctions are enforced under the Child Protection Law.
Personally, I strongly disagree with those who criminalize teachers when they are still within reasonable limits in their education. In my opinion, children should not be reprimanded for mistakes or punished for bad behavior. It's better for their parents to educate them at home, rather than sending them to school. Let's not burden teachers with our children. May teachers around the world be blessed with health and fortitude.
