An unforgettable little town

Greetings friends of this wonderful community.

My weekend, especially Sunday, was great. I went with my husband to take a drive to a very beautiful little town that is approximately 45 minutes from the house. This beautiful little town is called El Rincon which is located in the Benitez Municipality, Sucre state; on the Carupano-Guiria Venezuela national highway.

The walk is beautiful and you immediately feel that connection with mother earth.

And here we find our ad as if lost in the undergrowth, which indicates that we are going in the right direction.

Everything was green due to the rains that have fallen recently, I could feel the soft and fresh breeze and listen to the singing of the birds, I was enchanted looking at those huge trees which you feel that they you and tell you their story.

and on our way we find this beautiful tunnel, formed by the trees, which gives us the impression that its branches merge into a strong embrace, to welcome us and continue enjoying the wonders of nature

Arriving at the town square we find this majestic monument, the church of San Pedro Apostol which offers a unique beauty and a surprising history of its foundation dating from ancient times.

As we progressed on our journey, my admiration for each tree I found was more immense since they were all different and beautiful.

At the edge of the road there is this stream which allows us to see small fish, everything is too quiet, you can breathe an incredible peace

I was able to notice that there were several types of houses from a house with walls built of mud and a zinc roof, others built with palm leaves, and some made of blocks but with their paint already faded by the Happen of the years.

The inhabitants of the place usually place the sale of the fruits that they harvest on their farms or are in season at the door of their houses.

here our friend Maria has a sale of arepas, roasted corn, cachapas (it's like a pancake but made with very tender freshly cut corn which is ground in a mill and then they put a little sugar and salt and mix it so that it integrates all good and proceed to cook in some banana leaves)

These are the delicious tender corn cachapas, a food originating in Venezuela.

We couldn't resist this exquisite temptation and bought some cachapas and arepas, which we didn't eat in the car on the way home, accompanied with avocado and cheese.

Since I knew it was the cachapas season, I already left my house prepared with the cheese. I bought the avocado from Maria, the girl who sold the cachapas.
