Dear Northerners, both Muslims, Elders, Leaders and any who has a language, religion, culture or tribe that these Fulani herdsmen understand.. maybe your fellows will understand you better for they have not listened to us! 😭
You say you all believe in Peace, But what will you do to stop your fellows from these killings!
This is also a Public Health Concern.
In Nigeria 🇳🇬 my dear Country, some militia group of herdsmen are invading people's properties and murdering them for selfish gains.
I must lend a voice in all these to say.. Silence from voices that should speak can be interpreted as injustice! And though most sound unpolished in talking about terrorism, it appears to me that in developed nations, a disaster happens, 12 people die and whole Nation mourns and is concerned.. But I see my generation indifferent or still sentimental when over 70 innocents are killed in terror (death toll has kept rising)*
To the well meaning Fulani and entire Northerners, help Nigeria to get a hold of and stop these killers. Do not keep silent.
To the indifferent, the Truth is, no matter how focused we are.. Or how professional, as long as it is social media, as long as we will celebrate new year and every common general thing.. We must mourn with our fellow Nigerians! As long as it is a National concern! *Yes we must not just go along pursuing other things without interrupting for moment to lend our mourning, comfort and concern to our Nigeria. "Habaa" we are human before we were busy people, we were born here, We have a heart.
And when we see people talking inciting words..on any media, When we correct, we should do such correction in Love, clearly some of us were more bereaved. We should learn to only use comforting Words when it seems some of us are saying hard words borne from genuine grief for loss. I mourn, but do hope my point is clear. Nigeria is where we live! God Comfort us at a time like this!
It is sad that many Nigerian have been innocently killed. We look towards only coexisting with Sane humans, seeing the practice of justice and value for human life. The culprits.. God forgive them and deliver us from such men. But let justice happen. -Shalom'Shalom
