Never expect life to be fair

Let’s face it, life in the society in which we live today is not fair. You will find that some people are born with great advantages, while others are born with very little. _{Image: source} This seems to be the experience of many people. Since throughout life, at some point you will come across a situation you deem to be unfair. This could be due to the result of one of the following: • You did not get the job you wanted

• You did not get the loan to start that new business

• You are never fully credited for the work you do

• You always seem to miss out on the best deals

The good thing about life however, is that it is dynamic and responsive. When you are faced with challenges and obstacles, life will always give you the opportunity to find a way out. You must reject the thought, that life’s unfairness is due totally to the works of others. If you were to get rid of all the racism, greed, sexism, ageism, and lust for power, we would still not end the perceived reality of unfairness. Lets picture the following scenario, were you are completely free from the influence of mankind.

You wake up on a deserted island far and away from everyone. You have no water or food. You discover further, that you have no mobile phone, or map of the area. In this scenario, you could still argue that life is unfair, since it is unfair that you are alone on this island with no water, food and means of communication. At the same time, you realise that the same mobile phone made by those you consider self-serving, could actually have saved your life.

You should always look for the good in life, and realise that life is less unfair, when you work hard and never give up. You can start a great process in your life, that will help you to get more in this world. You can however, only start this process by first knowing yourself, and not being afraid to go after the things you want.

It might be uncommon for you to do this at first, but you must come out of your comfort zone, if you aim to get the things you want.

So go ahead, ask for that new promotion, or that job you really want. Ask for that loan, or seek that investor to fund your next venture. If you do not get what you ask for at first, do not give up. Go over your plans again, and try until you succeed.

Life is indeed unfair, but there is plenty that can be done to overcome and prosper in this world. Some people have even acquired great success because of this unfairness, which once plagued their lives. Please remember to follow me @yourfinesight for more like this.
