The act of showing love to some person in today's world has now become something that needs proper reflection, because the same peaceful and kind love that existed long ago has gradually turned into an unpredictable act. In the olden days, a person could genuinely sacrifice for one another, take different kinds of risks just to protect a friend or relative.
Back in the day, in a family, they shared a great bond in a way that family members didn't even require permission before any one of them paid a visit to any of their various homes.
And also the same with friends. A good friend of a person could visit and spend weeks without moving a step. And all this was made possible because of genuine love. People found it very easy to help one another because the world was trustworthy. Who you trust doesn't take the trust you have for them for granted. Who you love never breaks your heart because they always try to maintain that love and make it last like it's not going to have an end. And also, a person you made a sacrifice for never forgets and always tries by all means to make sure that the sacrifice and effort never goes in vain.
But what about comparing it with nowadays? In today's world, life itself has become complicated. Almost everyone is living in fear because it is becoming difficult to identify who is who. And this is one of the reasons why the act of showing love can put a person in danger.
You may be genuinely sacrificing all you have just for the sake of someone you truly love, the one you care about, and the person might not value you as a person; rather, they value the things he or she is getting from you.
One of the worst parts about these kinds of persons is that they are very hard to detect. While they are in your presence, they will always pretend to be a sheep, and in your absence, they will then reveal their real wolf, which they truly are. I am not saying that good people no longer exist, but we just need to be extra careful because a lot is happening nowadays. And the worst part is that the people in our life that hurt us more than we can ever imagine are most times those to whom we showed much love without looking back.
And when it breaks out, you will start imagining what did I ever do to this person to deserve this? And by then, it will be hard, I know, because the deed has already been done. So, I believe the best thing anyone can do in this unpredictable world is to sleep with one eye open. I guess you know what I mean. This means love all but trust few, so you can show love to whomever that pleases you, but always watch out clearly. And most importantly, build yourself first, then you will be strong enough to support others.
