According to Giggs, there are ways that Pogba can focus 100 percent on the team, by kicking the way Paul Scholes used to do to Ronaldo.
"Kick him in training. But that is not happening now. It is starting to disappear. Now I am not saying you have to kick all the players. But that is the way that can make Ronaldo a better player," Giggs told the Evening Standard.
"Scholes will kick him if he touches the ball too much. Then suddenly imprinted that you can not continue dribbling or you will be kicked," he added.
Furthermore, Giggs also remembered the words of the former Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany, who also claimed to have had to kick his teammate as a form of reprimand.
"I watched an interview with Kompany at the end of last season. He was a bit old-style," Giggs said.
"He was asked about a week before the final match in Brighton and he said, 'Well, I have to kick the players!' And I think City might miss it this season, "he said.
