Since the beginning of this Saga, which for me has been one of the best of its kind, I have been a follower of it since 2001 with Pro Evolution Soccer, where it was the first time I started in the world of video games; like many, at the beginning it was a little complicated for me to adapt to its gameplay but little by little I was adapting to it. Many people always asked me the same question when I started playing this game religiously after coming home from school "why do you play this game and not FIFA?" for several reasons that fans of these categories of video games should know and those who do not, I will explain them from my point of view:

FIFA is a soccer simulator more for beginners where the movements are more predictable, on the other hand in PES the movements are more real since the player has to accurately measure the direction of the passes and the strength of the shots to the goal.

One of the main attractions of PES is its attempt at perfection in graphics. Players look increasingly realistic, enhancing the feeling that virtual matches are as close to reality as possible.

FIFA is easier to learn because of its arcade feel, as the matches are fast and "exciting", often with a lot of scoring. On the other hand, PES seeks to reflect real-life soccer by having a much more leisurely and rigorous pace in the matches.

Undoubtedly, a saga worth following and, of course, if you like challenges and good soccer.

Many followers of this saga may be eagerly awaiting Konami's announcement of the release date of eFootball PES 2022, where Konami has only hinted that it will surprise its followers with photorealistic graphics, models and animations of the most realistic players, thus becoming the most realistic game of the saga to date and with improved physics. All this suggests that by the middle of this year 2021 it will already be on the market, but these are only rumors.

Of course the new graphics engine, as it was a reason for the disastrous PES 2021 (although not so disastrous from my point of view, as it was still using the classic Fox Engine). One of the few things that are fully confirmed for this incoming version of PES is the implementation of the Unreal Engine graphics engine, with which we expect more realism throughout the development of the game, and that makes Konami see it in their social network accounts where the PES 2022 trailer looks with an improvement in graphic quality throughout the presentation, so let's hope and the game is just as brutal as the opener they gave us in that trailer.

Without further ado, we leave open the debate of which game do you think is better and which one do you expect for this year, FIFA 22 or PES 22?

Desde el inicio de esta Saga, que para mí ha sido una de las mejores en su tipo, he sido seguidor de la misma desde 2001 con Pro Evolution Soccer, donde fue la primera vez que me inicié en el mundo de los videos juegos; como muchos, al inicio se me complicaba un poco adaptarme a su jugabilidad pero poco a poco me fui adaptando a este. Muchas personas me hacían la misma pregunta siempre cuando me ponía a jugar este juego religiosamente luego de llegar de la escuela “¿por qué juegas ese y no juegas FIFA?” por varias razones que los seguidores de estas categorías de videojuegos deben conocer y los que no, se las explicaré desde mi punto de vista:

FIFA es un simulador de futbol más para principiantes donde los movimientos son más predecibles, en cambio en PES los movimientos son más reales ya que el jugador tiene que medir con precisión la dirección de los pases y la fuerza de los disparos al arco.

Uno de los principales atractivos de PES es su intento de perfección en los gráficos. Los jugadores cada vez lucen realistas, potenciando la sensación de que los partidos virtuales sean lo máximo posible parecidos a la realidad.

FIFA es más fácil aprender por su sensación de arcade, ya que los partidos son rápidos y “emocionantes”, muchas veces con muchas anotaciones en el marcador. En cambio PES busca reflejar el futbol de la vida real teniendo un ritmo mucho más pausado y riguroso en los partidos.

Sin duda alguna, una saga digna de seguir y, claro está, si te gustan los retos y el buen futbol.

Muchos seguidores de esta saga quizás estén esperando con ansias el pronunciamiento de Konami donde anuncie la fecha de lanzamiento del eFootball PES 2022, donde Konami solo deja asomar que sorprenderá a sus seguidores con gráficos fotorrealistas, modelos y animaciones de los jugadores más realistas, convirtiéndose así en el juego de la saga más realista hasta la fecha y con una física mejorada. Todo esto apunta que para mediados de este año 2021 ya esté en el mercado, pero solo son rumores.

Por supuesto el nuevo motor gráfico, ya que fue un motivo del desastroso PES 2021 (aunque no tan desastroso desde mi punto de vista, ya que aún se seguía usando el clásico Fox Engine). Una de las pocas cosas que están completamente confirmadas para esta versión entrante de PES es la implementación del motor gráfico Unreal Engine, con la que esperamos más realismo todo el desarrollo del juego, y eso lo hace ver Konami en sus cuentas de redes sociales donde el tráiler de PES 2022 luce con una mejora de calidad gráfica en toda la presentación, así que esperemos y el juego sea igual de brutal como el abreboca que nos dieron en ese tráiler.
