Crazy About ICOs
Still very depressed about my crypto loss but keeping up with the crypto reading each day keeps me calm. 😓
Wow! It seems like everyone whose into the new crypto currencies are having a ball getting into all kinds of ICOs.
Having a stake in a company or a digital tech has plenty of gains if one can get in and purchase tokens before it takes off.
For example, the 'Basic Attention Taken ( BAT ) received 35 Million US dollars worh of Ethereum within 24 seconds! That's seconds, people!
BAT is Blockchain-based Digital Advertising. Anything to do with ads will be huge. Great gains for all involved especially those that are there at the beginning.
As many did not beat the big boys into this scramble for the highly sought after BAT token, then came the Bancor Network token ( BNT ) as smart token: The Bancor protocol enables built-in price discovery and a liquidity mechanism for tokens on smart contract blockchains. These “smart tokens” hold one or more other tokens in reserve and enable any party to instantly purchase or liquidate the smart token in exchange for any of its reserve tokens, directly through the smart token’s contract, at a continuously calculated price, according to a formula which balances buy and sell volumes.... okay, that was their blurb but again this group received 39.6 million US dollars worth of Ether from many eager participants who wanted 'in' with hopes being 'part' of the 'future'.
Is it hype or is there really something big going on with Cryptocurrencies? Is this new currency going to save us from the collapsing financial system that's happening globally now? Will the Blockchain that they ride on taking us into a real SciFi world of ant-gravity boots and flying cars? Maybe, but looks like everyone is getting in on it even those criminal bankers and soon Hedge Funds will be heading in, too. No one wants to stay on a sinking ship.
Another token Crowdsale that I ran upon is the Monaco Visa card token. It has lots and I do mean lots of advertising for it. You can't go on any 3rd page on the net without an ad for this Monaco Visa card catching your eye.

Saw their video and it looked really nice. How great it would be if there was a credit card where one could fun it with the virtual currency Ether or Bitcoin and go out and spend it as money at any store to purchase all your needs. Sounds like this type of virtual tool is very needed as we head away from the dying American dollar.

As more and more ICOS appear and the need for the purchases to be in crypto/virtual currencies, the rise of the value of all cryptos are in sight. We are all riding the Bitcoin wave into the next Golden Age.
Just as more people move over from Facebook to Steemit and discover the freedom of uncensored social media, the value of Steem also increases.
