우리는 비평에 매우 서투르다. 이윤기는 죽기 전 오역 논쟁에 휘말렸다. 그때 이윤기가 말했다. 번역이 틀렸으면 틀렸다고 말하지 왜 나를 죽일 놈으로 만들어. 분노를 앞세우지 않고는 비평을 못하는 것은 비평 연습이 돼 있지 않기 때문일 것이다. 비판할 일이 있으면 비판만 하면 된다. 황현산 선생의 말이 옳다.

황현산 선생이 구두점에 대하여 한 트윗. 글에 구두점을 많이 찍는 게 이롭다고 생각한다. 구두점을 잘 안 쓰는 데는 일본어의 영향도 있다고 보는데, 낱말들을 붙여 쓰는 일본어에서는 띄어쓰기로 구두점의 효과를 대신하는 것 같다. 구두점은 긴 문장을 명확하게 스는 데 도움을 준다. 한국어에는 구두점이 필요 없다고 말하는 사람들도 있는데, 구두점이 필요 없는 언어는
