Hoy estaba con el hijo en la tarde compartiendo un rato en la computadora, él estaba jugando CS2. He visto que le llama la atención un poco, está bien, quizás bastante. No es que me desagrade en su totalidad, sin embargo, estoy pendiente de los tiempos que utiliza para jugar, es decir, estoy al tanto de supervisarlo.

En una de esas, veo que uno de mis amigos se conecta a jugar y le digo para jugar un mapa y no perder la oportunidad de compartir un rato con él. Le dije a Jeremías que me diera oportunidad y, pues, se quedó conmigo ahí acompañándome.

El mapa seleccionado fue Mirage, el duelo fue bastante cerrado hasta esta ronda que quiero mostrarles. Quedé solo en contra de 3 terroristas, creí que la jugada era en la zona A, y busqué guardar mi arma por tener desventaja total. Luego me di cuenta de que la C4 estaba por plantarse en la zona B y tuve que enfrentarme a 3 enemigos. El primero lo encontré descuidada cruzando desde jungla hacia cocina, sabía que tenía un enemigo con la C4 en B y otro que venía corriendo desde A. Quise primero por el de la C4, lo dejé plantar y esperé a que se mostrara para poder eliminarlo, lo logré, pero justo ya había llegado el último desde cocina. Saltó sobre mí, justo cambié mi M4 sin balas a pistola y me enfrenté cuerpo a cuerpo, él con una AK47 y yo con apenas una P2000. Por suerte, pude lograr la baja, desactivar la C4 y ganar la ronda.

Al final el mapa lo perdimos, pero no podía dejar de compartir esta ronda que me pareció increíble.

PD: Mi hijo Jeremías dice que les diga: "Que aunque perdimos, lo importante es que hubo una jugada inolvidable."

Hi, guys,

This afternoon I was spending some time with my son on the computer; he was playing CS2. I’ve noticed that it catches his attention a bit—okay, maybe quite a bit. It’s not that I dislike it entirely, but I’m keeping an eye on how much time he spends playing—in other words, I’m making sure to supervise him.

Just then, I saw that one of my friends had logged in to play, so I suggested we play a map so we wouldn’t miss the chance to spend some time together. I asked Jeremías to give me a chance, and he stayed there with me.

The map we chose was Mirage, and the match was pretty close until this round I want to show you. I was alone against three terrorists; I thought the action was in Area A, so I tried to holster my weapon since I was at a total disadvantage. Then I realized the C4 was about to be planted in Area B, and I had to face three enemies. I spotted the first one carelessly crossing from the jungle toward the kitchen. I knew there was an enemy with the C4 at Site B and another one running toward me from Site A. I went after the one with the C4 first; I let him plant it and waited for him to reveal himself so I could take him out. I succeeded, but just then, the last one had arrived from the kitchen. He jumped on me; I’d just switched from my out-of-ammo M4 to a pistol and engaged him in close combat—he had an AK-47, and I had only a P2000. Luckily, I managed to take him down, defuse the C4, and win the round.

In the end, we lost the match, but I just had to share this round—I thought it was incredible.

P.S.: My son Jeremías says to tell you: “Even though we lost, what matters is that there was an unforgettable play.”
