After spending a lot of time outside my country Venezuela. To be honest, it's the first time I'm participating in this contest. And after seeing many of the works that are shared here; Well I don't consider myself a great cartoonist but I love doing it in my free time.
As I mentioned, this post is the first one with which I make my entry to participate in the weekly art contest made by @Splinterlands, here I am drawing Apprentice in 2D.
I chose this character, I see him as a fire elf emerging from among some rocks, which I thought was great and a real challenge.
The difficulty of this character, I found in transferring its original version to a 2D plane dotted with a cartoon style.
My compliments to the artist of the original design of this Apprentice letter.
What fascinates me the most is that there is a range of great artists that I can join in this great fan art contest.
