Weekend is over in my end, it's 1:34 am and I'm up Hivin' bit I'll probably go back to sleep later.
My son just turned 4 the other day and now I turned 30. Im half way to being a senior citizen, haha! But my body feels like I am one already; aches here and there on almost constant basis.
Being 30 worries me to, I don't know what's coming but Im sure I'll brave myself facing them even if it means I had to face them with fear. Perhaps life would have lots of surprises in the coming days and months and years, I'm excited for them and I would cherish them. Afterall, there's no way back, right?
I poured out my budget on my son's birthday so I didn't have much preparation in mine except for my sister's demands for me to bake a cake. I'll share more about them later.
My chiffon cake is not perfect but good for a first timer. Too bad I could not practice more; the oven we borrowed has been returned earlier today.
As a part of today's celebration, I took a little walk with my kids towards my in-law's house. It was Sandra's birthday too and we came to celebrate and greet her on her special day. My husband is refereeing a basketball game too and we took a stop to watch for a bit.
Hand - in hand, of course but my two girls don't want to be held at all and went ahead.
They know the way and they are good at it.
The sky looks so pretty! Dark clouds gave contrast to the blue sky and sunshine. It rained before we headed on our walk and the kids worried if we cancel it.
Daughter saw a ripe guava fruit on the tree but sadly we could not take it. I took a photo of the tree instead
We call this tree dol-dol in our tongue, its body has thorns and it looks gigantic, magestic even.
The kids had a great time, they are happy about our little adventure but they don't know I am happier than them, creating wonderful memories, feeling their unconditional love and cherishing awesome moments together. Oh, if only we could do this everyday.
Perhaps being 30 gave me new perspective in life, and evwn mkre appreciating the little things I had and valuing which matters most
Its a different thing to bond at home and outside, environment gives more positive vibes!
Soon we arrived at the basketball court and saw hubby very busy with his work. It's the fourth quarter of the game so he is all eyes.
I didn't finish the game and met with his neices and went to their house to eat. Im not really hungry though, and soon, my hungry husband came and ate along with his nephew and two colleagues.
Laling is busy doing her make up! She found a make up kit owned my my husband's neices and did it on her own. I was surprised to see her eye shadows amazingly, maybe because she likes to play make up games and knew her way with it. But she had too much and unbalanced blush on and I had to help her with it after.
Czak on the other hand was very happy to see a police car parked on the basketball court. He said they were his colleagues so I asked him to pose with the car and he did a hand salute! He's been telling me he wanted to be a police and I hope he will be determined to reach his dreams no matter how hard it will take
We headed home soon after and we all had a great time.
