Good food makes the day good
Im old!
Sunday started early; I woke up earlier than my alarm woke me and I prepared food immediately. The night before I ate only a small amount of dinner felt hungry and made me a coffee while awaiting for the food to be ready.
My kids woke up and asked me to repair her skirt and that's when I knew that I could not find my things. The black thread is no there as well as my scissors and no one else no the family saw them.
My sewing machine broke too and the tools I kept aren't anywhere to be found so I sewed it by hand and it took me longer. I was shaking out of hunger when I finished my project.
Why do things break and get lost when they are needed the most?
Its alarming how my body reacts to a delayed eating. I must ahve been growing old fast.
farming plans
I and my husband along with our son proceed to farm after breakfast to see if the land is ready to be tilled. The herbicide did its workand the weeds are slowly dying. Tomorrow, we will have it plowed and the remaining crops gathered. I pray the almighty will bless us and give grace.
We are still short of funds yet we are determined to do it,
I hope we will be able to find financial sources for it
We hang put a bit, looking, and feeling the trees around yet the rain triggered our retreat.

My ma always cooks dog food; that day, she was delighted that we will be going to the farm and, I volunteered to feed the dogs and chickens.
Chickens plays great part in giving us financial support. Way back in college, my parents sells them so I wil have addtitional allowance for school.
She even warned us not to feed this sweet ball of furr. He was my uncle's dog and his master is not at home so he went to my ma's and bullied the dogs and steal their food. But would you say no to someone who is hungry even if you have enough food?

I found a ripe papaya and we had it for a snack while. Waiting for drizzles to stop. A typhoon is affecting the country's weather and the sky is hidden by a thick layer of cloud.
We had a raincoat ready for any possible raining but maybe the rain got afraid of our defense and it did get any stronger than drizzles
lunch and more
Lunch happened in a friend's house. On Saturday night, a friend suggested we have lunch at thier place and do a karaoke.
My husband brought an unripe jackfruit on thier house in the morning, somebody brought coconuts and bananas too while they volunteered for the cooking.
Czak is very sleepy but he insisted to play with his friends. Look at his eyes!
Im glad to have found friends in them. Boxing brought us all together and we are getting closer.
Kids and adults had fun!
But the dessert cam late, Jen forgot about them and sent the kids to fetch at noon. It looks delicious but I had been avoiding sweets because of my tonsils, they are swollen again.
Karaoke didn't happen due to lack of facilities, we stayed in their house till 4 in the afternoon talking about many things and future plans.
It's been a while since I don't spent time with friends, and it's seldom when I get comfortable with people around me.
It was indeed a great weekend experience!
