First Sunday of the year.

Sunny Sunday, the first day of the year 2023. The cold days we are not used to here are over and the rain doesn't let us interact with the outside environment either.
This day dawns with a clear blue and an illumination that invites us to take a trip outside. After the New Year's Eve dinner and so much food rotting in our bodies, I think the best option was to go out and stretch our bones a bit and try to burn some body fat.
With this in mind, we put on our sports clothes and set off to a ball field where the people of our community play and where we can hardly ever go, as it is almost always full of old people and for this reason we can't be there with the children because of security problems, as if a ball escapes....
The baby wasn't far behind, she was also in her sporty attire.

With all the equipment ready, including water and instruments for the game, we set off on the walk, which is very close to our house. Luckily for us it was empty, apparently people are still celebrating New Year's Eve at home and we had all the space to ourselves.

We took a big shade under a leafy tree to start stretching and warming up, as the sun was shining brightly.
The game of tennis came up and we hit the ball with a clean racket, nothing that Rafa Nadal would die if he saw us mistreating his sport. 😬

Football was another outrage we committed by indiscriminately kicking the ball, making a bad copy of what was the most recent football world cup. 😂

All this, plus a few laps around the perimeter of the pitch and a war to get the ball away from dad left the kids exhausted.
We went back to the house ready for a bath!
It was a good day and different, away from the routine of home and family obligations. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves as well as exercising our bodies by playing sports, well, at least we tried which is the important thing and the children were very grateful for it.
