Hive Open Mic Week #292 | There You'll Be - Faith Hill (Cover) by @yisusth

A warm greeting to this beautiful community. In Hive Open Mic #292, we explore the theme: “Moving Mountains.” I am pleased to share my trumpet interpretation of «There You'll Be», a pop country ballad composed by Diane Warren and performed by Faith Hill. You will surely remember the melody from the movie Pearl Harbor. The lyrics talk about eternal love for someone who has profoundly impacted life. This person feels grateful, and their memory remains as a guide and provides strength. This musical piece is in the key of A♭ major, and in my case, I perform it in B♭ major. The melody is very beautiful, with a certain type of complexity and ascending phrases leading to climactic moments. The rhythm is slow and steady, with a time signature of 4/4. When I think of moving mountains, what comes to mind is the heart and how it hardens due to life's hardships.

Un cordial saludo para esta bella comunidad. En el Hive Open Mic #292, exploramos el tema: “Moving Mountains". Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «There You'll Be» una balada pop country compuesta por Diane Warren e interpretada por Faith Hill. Seguramente recordaras la melodía de la película Pearl Harbor. La letra habla sobre amor eterno hacia alguien que ha marcado profundamente la vida. Esta persona se siente agradecida y su recuerdo permanece como una guía y le brinda fortaleza. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en la tonalidad de A♭ mayor y en mi caso la interpreto en B♭ mayor. La melodía es muy hermosa, con cierto tipo de complejidad y frases ascendentes hacia momentos culminantes. El ritmo es lento y estable con una cifra indicadora de compás de 4/4. Cuando pienso en mover montañas me viene a la mente el corazón y como este se endurece por las dificultades de la vida.

I recently read the story of a man from India who grabbed a pickaxe and started breaking the rock of a mountain. I’m not going to spoil the story for you; I invite you to look it up online. What’s true is that this man managed to get through the mountain through his faith, determination, and hard work. There are great mountains in our lives. One of them is reaching people’s hearts. It always depends on the recipient. Some people have their hearts armored, with an electric fence, and even a guard dog. Only the person themselves has the key, since this door only opens from the inside. We can probably influence them with our acts of kindness. Music has the ability to reach hearts. It gets into the fibers, moves us, makes us more sensitive, and makes us malleable. I hope you enjoy my performance this week. Blessings.

Hace poco leía la história de un hombre proveniente de la india que agarro un pico y empezó a romper la roca de una montaña. No les voy a hacer spoiler de la história, los invito a buscarla en la web. Lo cierto es que ese hombre logro traspasar la montaña por su fe, determinación y trabajo arduo. Existen grandes montañas en nuestras vidas. Una de ellas es llegar al corazón de las personas. Siempre depende del receptor. Algunas personas tienen su corazón blindado, con un cercado eléctrico, e incluso con un perro guardián. La llave solo la tiene la persona, ya que está puerta solo abre por dentro. Probablemente, podamos influir con nuestras acciones de bondad. La música tiene la capacidad de llegar a los corazones. Ella se mete entre las fibras, nos emociona, nos sensibiliza y nos hace moldeables. Espero que disfruten de mi interpretación esta semana. Bendiciones.
