SolarWinds was pieced together by huge private equity firms. They had $2 billion in debt from acquisitions.
I really don't know about the quality of their services, but this is the worst possible way to build a security.

The aggressive mergers started after SolarWinds was acquired by Bain Capital.
The company had big money and was able to buy trust. But acquired trust does not make a company trustworthy.
