Today is the Mid Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese folk festival. The moon on the Mid Autumn Festival is full, families are reunited, and married daughters are reunited at home. Therefore, it is also called "reunion festival". Unfortunately, this year's Mid Autumn Festival can't be reunited with my parents in my hometown.
When the moon comes out at night, we will put moon cakes and some fruits and candies on the balcony to worship the moon god and pray for blessings. We will also make lanterns for children, so that children can feel the atmosphere of traditional festivals from an early age.
