Good afternoon sir, I'm Mira and you've not made a mistake in insisting I handle your ad, I hope my boss has also let you know the charge for a professional like me is quite high and I hope you can handle it. Thankyou very much sir, I look forward to working with your company but I need to take my leave.
I walked out of my boss' office and went off to Victor's. I told him what happened and he asked me to remain calm, suggesting it might be just work but why would he leave Abuja to get a model from an agency in Calabar besides it wasn't the company's duty to get a model but the marketing firm. Something was just not right about this visit, Victor wondered.
I needed to get home and he offered to work me to my car and once again we bumped into Kennedy but this time he approached me and wanted to speak with me. Well I wasn't interested as I hushed him away, asking him to speak with my manager while I drove off.
I returned to the office the following day and met a package which was from Kennedy of which I trashed immediately. The flowers and gifts continued coming in and I had to tell the receptionist to stop getting them. This time he came on his own and I asked he be brought to my office.
Kennedy what do you want I asked,
With no remorse 'I've come back to get you and my child
