*The Joy in Client's Satisfaction*

Hello Hivers, happy new year to you all. This is my first time of posting in this community, I hope I'm welcomed.

I was enthralled when I first saw this community. I just couldn't wait to drop my own piece.

Fashion designing is one of the side hustles that I do in addition to studying. When I started learning how to sew, I thought I would not last for a month because I saw it as being so stressful as I always go back home everyday with back and waist ache from paddling of the machine.

It took being focus, patience and a good boss with a great tuition for me to get to where I am today in my skill. I hope to go for an upgrade soon.

One of the things I learnt from my boss is that the joy of every fashion designer is the satisfaction of his or her client. This replays in my head anytime I get a fabric from my client.

The aim is not only to earn the money but to make the outcome worth the pay; regardless of the pay, I'm always overjoyed when my client is happy while wearing her cloth.

I got this fabric last week from a new client

She told me she needed a blouse that she can use with trousers to a function.
Meanwhile, I do not like making styles for my client but since she was a new one, I felt I could try and work on something she'd definitely like cos there's no harm in trying

After carefully assessing her body type, I got a grasp of what would fit her and I set down to work 👇

I drafted and cut the front and the back bodice of the blouse using my client's body measurement. While drafting this, I inserted 2 inches allowances-- one allowance for ease and the other for sewing allowance. I also cut the fabric that I'll use in lining it.

I also drafted and cut the hand sleeve of the blouse ☝️.
After that I moved on to the sewing process.
I first of all turned the fabric with the lining piece ( both back and front)

After turning the front and the back bodice with the lining, I went ahead to join the shoulder of the front piece with that of the back piece and also affix the hand sleeve to the blouse.
