En una ocasión anterior les hablé de Zeus y casualmente trataba de un baño, esta vezes la segunda vez que baño a este lindo y educado perrito, este pequeño antes solo era atendido en peluquerías caninas para asear su melena cuando vivía en su natal Cali, pero este jovencito se mudo con su madre a Venezuela y desde entonces he sido yo la encargada de sus baños, creo que haber sido atendido las primeras veces por profesionales ha hecho de este un perro sumamente dócil a la hora del baño así que ese aspecto no es para nada un problema.
El problema más grave ahora es que pudimos detectar la presencia de garrapatas en su piel, de hecho esta fue la razón de realizar el baño, había estado algo incomodo y se estaba rascando constantemente, su tupida melena y su extrovertida personalidad impedían poder revisar bien en busca de plagas, pero durante el baño fue evidente la presencia de muchas de ellas, eliminamos las que pudimos ver y por suerte muchas solo estaban sujetas solo a su pelo. Para combatir este problema usamos un champú insecticida y luego de sacarlo muy bien usando un secador de cabello aplicamos un talco, que además de tener buen aroma también es un producto insecticida.
Estamos esperando que nos notifiquen desde su veterinaria, cual es el medicamento que ha estado usando para combatir las plagas para comprárselo lo más pronto posible y mantener tan sano como ahora al bueno de Zeus, como siempre yo muy satisfecha de hacer este tipo de trabajos porque adoro a los perritos y Zeus es tan educado y amoroso que solo provoca tratarlo tan dulcemente como es suele ser con todos.

On a previous occasion I told you about Zeus and casually it was about a bath, this is the second time that I bathed this cute and educated dog, this little one before was only attended in dog grooming salons to clean his mane when he lived in his native Cali, but this young boy moved with his mother to Venezuela and since then I have been in charge of his baths, I think that having been attended the first times by professionals has made this a very docile dog at bath time so that aspect is not a problem at all
The most serious problem now is that we could detect the presence of ticks on his skin, in fact this was the reason for the bath, he had been somewhat uncomfortable and was scratching constantly, his bushy mane and his extroverted personality prevented to check well for pests, but during the bath was evident the presence of many of them, we removed the ones we could see and luckily many were only attached only to his hair. To combat this problem we used an insecticidal shampoo and after removing them very well using a hair dryer we applied a talcum powder, which besides having a good scent is also an insecticidal product.
We are waiting to be notified from his veterinarian, which is the medicine he has been using to combat pests to buy it as soon as possible and keep as healthy as now to good Zeus, as always I very pleased to do this kind of work because I love dogs and Zeus is so polite and loving that only causes treat him as sweetly as it is usually with everyone.
