He estado toda la semana dibujando nutrias, en mis ratos frente al papel, me gusta mucho su anatomía especialmente cuando se contorsionista bajo el agua para moverse, y son muy buenas en ello, hoy decidí darle color a una de ellas en esta pintura digital que les muestro a continuación, he disfrutado mucho coloreandola espero que también sea de su agrado.

I have been all week drawing otters, in my time in front of the paper, I really like their anatomy especially when they contortionist under the water to move, and they are very good at it, today I decided to give color to one of them in this digital painting that I show you below, I have enjoyed coloring it a lot, I hope you like it too.
Como mencioné solo tenía la intención de dibujar por el placer de hacerlo, solo hice alguna líneas expresivas y rápidas para el dibujo de esta nutria, cuya foto obtuve en el siguiente enlace dibuje un ovalo para su cabeza y el resto de su cuerpo un cilindro curvo y más óvalos para sus extremidades, una vez descifre la composición de su cuerpo comencé a añadir los detalles de su cara y sus patitas.
As I mentioned I only intended to draw for the pleasure of doing it, I just made some expressive and fast lines for the drawing of this otter, whose picture I got in the following link I drew an oval for his head and the rest of his body a curved cylinder and more ovals for his extremities, once I figured out the composition of his body I started to add the details of his face and his paws.
Para colorear, redibuje este primero boceto dejando solo las líneas más importantes de contorno y forma de sus patitas, con un pincel texturizado con efecto al agua, comencé a colocar los primeras pinceladas del fondo y los tonos generales de la nutria.
For coloring, I redrew this first sketch leaving only the most important contour lines and shape of its paws, with a textured brush with water effect, I began to place the first strokes of the background and the general tones of the otter.
Obtenida esta base, use un pincel más delgado y comencé a realizar trazos más definitorios en el pelaje del animal, pero igual manteniendo un estilo pictórico sin barrer demasiado las pinceladas, poco a poco comencé a ocultar la capa de boceto, para definir mejor solo a base de pinceladas.
Once this base was obtained, I used a thinner brush and began to make more defining strokes on the animal's fur, but still maintaining a pictorial style without sweeping the brushstrokes too much, little by little I began to hide the sketch layer, to better define only with brushstrokes.
El desconocimiento de la anatomía real de las patas me ha hecho un poco complicado definirlas correctamente y me he tardado un poco en ello, pero me ha gustado así que decidí continuar, esta vez procedí a definir el fondo usando un azul verdoso de tono bastante bajo y una capa por encima las burbujas producidas por el chapuzon de la nutria en el agua.
The lack of knowledge of the real anatomy of the paws made it a bit complicated to define them correctly and it took me a while, but I liked it so I decided to continue, this time I proceeded to define the background using a fairly low tone greenish blue and a layer on top of the bubbles produced by the otter's splash in the water.
En este punto comencé a experimentar, quiero decir a agregar detalles que no estaban en la imagen original como unas ramas de árboles sumergidas y algas creciendo desde el fondo, cosas que me agrado de inmediato y creo que hace más vistosa la ilustración.
At this point I started to experiment, I mean to add details that were not in the original image such as some submerged tree branches and algae growing from the bottom, things that I liked immediately and I think it makes the illustration more eye-catching.
Para finalizar modifiqué los niveles de las ramas más cercanas por un tono más opaco, y dibuje muchas más burbujas saliendo de todos lados...
Esta ha sido mi proceso para la creación de esta ilustración, aunque he leído cosas no tan agradables de las nutrias siguen siendo de mis animales favoritos, si ha sido de tu agrado y tienes algún comentario o sugerencia estaré muy feliz de leerte, hasta la próxima...
To finish I modified the levels of the nearest branches for a more opaque tone, and I drew many more bubbles coming out from all sides...
