Feliz domingo mis queridos amigos de Hive!
Espero haya sido un bonito fin de semana, yo me he sentido algo mal porque no he podido ser constante en las publicaciones de mi blog, pero me siento algo decaída y desmotivada, la ilustración que muestro a continuación la comencé hace más de una semana y apenas estoy terminando, la idea para esta ilustración fue un par de hermanitos que van de excursión y están emocionados por la aventura.
Happy Sunday my dear friends of Hive!
I hope it has been a nice weekend, I have been feeling a little bad because I have not been able to be constant in my blog posts, but I feel a little down and unmotivated, the illustration I show below I started it more than a week ago and I am just finishing it, the idea for this illustration was a couple of little brothers who are going on a hike and are excited about the adventure.
Lo primero por supuesto fue dibujar esta idea, en primer plano dibujé al hermano mayor siendo el líder, llevando su mochila con con un bastón improvisado que encontró al lado del camino, el hermano pequeño va detrás tratando de llevarle el ritmo, mientras lleva su pequeño carrito, lleno de sus juguetes, un gran fan de los dinosaurios como es bastante evidente.
Para la base de color he elegido una paleta bastante cálida, con mucha presencia de verdes.
The first thing of course was to draw this idea, in the foreground I drew the older brother being the leader, carrying his backpack with a makeshift stick he found on the side of the road, the younger brother is behind trying to keep up with him, while carrying his little cart, full of his toys, a big fan of dinosaurs as it is quite evident.
For the color base I have chosen a rather warm palette, with a lot of green presence.
Luego procedí a hace el coloreado de las figuras, comencé definiendo su piel, colocando luces la cual oriente desde el lado izquierdo de la imagen, coloree sus ojos y los hice muy brillantes, como llenos de ilusión por la aventura que tienen delante de ellos.
Then I proceeded to color the figures, I started by defining their skin, placing lights which I orient from the left side of the image, I colored their eyes and made them very bright, as if full of illusion for the adventure that they have in front of them.
Una vez completado el coloreado de mis personajes comencé a colocar algunas luces de reflejo, elegi un color azul agrisado, para destacar un poco que están al aire libre con mucha luz alrededor.
Y luego le di algo de textura al fondo, para hacer el pasto use el pincel de cerdas y no barrí mucho el trazo para dejar las lineas y simular las pequeñas hojas de la hierva, por último agregue un poco de este color grisáceo en las zonas más oscuras.
Once completed the coloring of my characters I began to place some reflection lights, I chose a grayish blue color, to highlight a little that they are outdoors with lots of light around.
And then I gave some texture to the background, to make the grass I used the bristle brush and I didn't sweep much the stroke to leave the lines and simulate the small leaves of the grass, finally I added a little of this grayish color in the darkest areas.
Lo que más me gusta de esta ilustración es que pude recrear una idea que tenia en mi mente, hice dos pequeños que se notan tienen personalidades muy diferentes, hasta me puedo imaginar las charlas, uno apasionado por la expedición y tesoros en cuevas y el otro de dinosaurios y sus características.
Me gusto esta escena, la.cual me parece muy adorable, que te parece a ti?
What I like most about this illustration is that I was able to recreate an idea that I had in my mind, I made two little ones that have very different personalities, I can even imagine the talks, one passionate about the expedition and treasures in caves and the other about dinosaurs and their characteristics.
I liked this scene, which I find very adorable, what do you think of it?
