Saludos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien hoy estoy muy feliz de presentarles la segunda ilustración que tiene como inspiración los maquillajes con temática de hadas que he realizado recientemente, la primera se trató de la hada Mushroom ahora es turno de la mariposa hada de las Mariposas. La primera estaba situada en un pantanoso bosque, esta se ubica en las praderas donde abundan las flores silvestres y por tanto las mariposas a su cargo.

Greetings friends, I hope you are very well today I am very happy to present you the second illustration that has as inspiration the fairy themed makeovers that I have done recently, the first one was about the fairy Mushroom now is the turn of the butterfly fairy of the Butterflies. The first one was set in a swampy forest, this one is set in the meadows where wildflowers abound and so do the butterflies in her care.

Para realizar esta ilustración comencé primero con la realización de un boceto a grandes rasgos a partir de una de las fotos resultantes del maquillaje realizado para esta hada.

To make this illustration I started first with the realization of a rough sketch from one of the photos resulting from the makeup done for this fairy.

Luego procedí a pulir un poco dichas líneas dibujando una capa arriba, y bajando la opacidad de la capa del primero boceto.

Then I proceeded to polish those lines a bit by drawing a layer on top, and lowering the opacity of the layer of the first sketch.

Seguidamente al igual como aplique en mi anterior ilustración hice que mis líneas de lineart más borrosas con la ayuda de un pincel para ese fin, la aplicación que he usado para realizar esta ilustración fue Paint Tool SAI.

Next, as I applied in my previous illustration I made my lineart lines more blurred with the help of a brush for that purpose, the application I used to make this illustration was Paint Tool SAI.

El paso siguiente fue añadir la base de color para ello cree una carpeta en la cual agripe cada uno de los colores que coloqué en capas individuales.

The next step was to add the base color for this I created a folder in which I aggregated each of the colors that I placed in individual layers.

Luego comencé el coloreado, añadiendo tonos más oscuros en las zonas con sombras en las áreas iluminadas, en este paso también coloree el interior de los ojos y agregue algunos brillos, para lo cual he intercambiado entre el pincel de bolígrafo para la base y un pincel de base al agua para los degradados de color.

Then I started the coloring, adding darker tones in the areas with shadows in the illuminated areas, in this step I also colored the inside of the eyes and added some shimmers, for which I have switched between the pen brush for the base and a water based brush for the color gradients.

Así mismo añadí el brillo al cabello alternándolo entre azules y cafés, a la capa que contenía la base de las alas he baje un poco la opacidad para hacerlas parecer traslucidas, en este punto también había coloreado el fondo en cual consiste de un amanecer sobre una verde pradera.

I also added the shine to the hair alternating between blues and browns, to the layer containing the base of the wings I lowered the opacity a little to make them look translucent, at this point I also colored the background which consists of a sunrise over a green meadow.

Por ultimo me pareció mejor idea ya que se encontraba a contraluz bajar un poco la luminiscencia de la capa de color y dibujar una luz marcada en los bordes del personaje y definitivamente me ha gustado más de esta forma, espero que también haya sido de su agrado todo mi proceso y si alguien tiene algún consejo o comentario estaré feliz de leerlos.

Finally I thought it was a better idea to lower the luminiscence of the color layer a little bit and draw a marked light on the edges of the character and I definitely liked it better this way, I hope you also liked my whole process and if anyone has any advice or comments I'll be happy to read them.
