Yetis Most Fave Flics (or a cpl anyway)

Good day and Buenos nachos!! My name is Yeti and I am new to this Hive thingy. I was brought here because of the blogpostmonth challenge. Four days in and I am failing miserably!! But I'm getting into the flow. BTW, Some really good stuff here. OBSCURE, WOW!!!. I love that stuff.

My brain is pretty much Swiss cheese these days and I suffer from CRS on top of it. So I am winging it here. Forgive me. This list is in no specific order because it would all depend on my mood at the time. Here we go.

I never have been a fan of cowboy movies, but then several years back I realized I like a lot of feakin cowboy flics! Ok here's my take on that flick. SOLID actors, Robert Duval and Tommy Lee Jones. I mean that alone has to say to someone,"meh, this might be good". I mean them two old Texas rangers Gus and Call, are just to of the roughest men alive. I have family likes these two old birds. But that's not it.

The whole flick is filled with POWERFUL supporting actors who are all lead roll cats!! So ya have to know the vibe was groovin when folks was getting them scripts. The idea of riding into Mexico in the middle of the night to steel horses to drive up to Montana is BADASS!! At every turn there's a new situation happening. For reals this is a dope buddy flick. This one here Is for me one of those I know I've seen it a zillion times but imma pop it in and take a nap. I will tell you... I have never taken a freeking nap during that movie in what 30+ years. I mean right out the gate its got my attention. I can go on and on about it. I got more to write yet.

Like grandpas says in the opening scene" This movie has everything. Sports, fighting, LOVE, TRUE LOVE". I remember the day I picked this off the shelf at my folks house and was , meh. I don't know what it is about this one but I was glued to the set the whole time. After that it became a classic in my family. The adventure The Princess Bride takes us through is just remarkably outlandish!! But so intriguing.

The dread Pirate Robets (The Man In Black), Princess Buttercup, Fezzik, Inego Montoya, Prince Humperdinck, Vizzini, Miracle Max. MAN ALIVE I got an itch to scratch and this move is the scratcher!!! I mena the characters are so outlandish, but its the story!!! Rob Reiner did an amazing job here.. " Are there rocks up ahead?" "if there are we'd all be dead.", " Ello, my name is Inego Montoya. You killed my father, Prepare to die."

The fencing scene between Inego and the Man In Black Was AMAZEBAWLZ!!! I mean to this day I believe that is the best sword fight of all time!!!

I was raised oon this movie and music. I don't have anything more to say about this except Bend over lemme see ya shake your tail feathers!!!!

Yup. True Grit right here. Men on a suicide mission to get another man the hell out of WWII. Opie Taylor sure did a grip of great movies.

Really any movie by the Choen Bros is my favorite movie!! The cinematography. the south, music. I don't know. This is just like Lonesome Dove for me. I love these three stooges with all my heart.
