Hello lovely Hivers and motherhood community 🌸
I hope we are all doing great today 🌸

Time flies to fast. My first born will be going to school as daycare this month. I am still processing this moment as I feel like I am not ready because he is still my baby. Like I was teary eyed thinking that he will be a grow up soon. A sort of drama scene in my head and I know I am not the only one who experience this.

Today is the schedule of parents orientation of day care wherein the teacher will discuss some of the activities for the school year, the plans for modular class because they are now allowed to have a face to face class as we don't have vaccine for children under 5 years old.

The orientation was held earlier at 9:00 AM in the morning. The place of the orientation is in our baranggay hall in evacuation room and it well serve as the temporary room of the day care also.

The baranggay hall is not so far from our house. You just need to wall a couple of minutes to get there. This is our street and I leave my son and my niece to my Aunt because I can't manage to bring the two of them as I know they will just roam around the place.

This is our baranggay hall and on the side you will see the evacuation area and that's our orientation venue. When I went there , I saw a few people maybe because I went exactly 9:00 AM. I am not well known in our baranggay and as an introvert I dont have a lot of acquaintance resulting that I didn't know the face of my fellow mommies on the room. Well it's not an issue anyway. I just shared it.

I captured a photo of the mommies while waiting for the start of the meeting. At 9:12 AM the meeting starting by the teacher. At first she introduced herself to us and then starting to discuss the activities and all about the modular class.

Since we are in modular class , the activities will be send via messenger and we need to take some videos of our children while doing the activities. They also have feeding program that will be distributed every week.

The teacher also discuss how the grading system works or the assessment work. The one that she is holding is like a boom wherein all the progress of your child is in there.

Since we are modular. She told us that the module is not free anymore as the xerox machine in their office is all broken. We will pay like 10 to 20 pesos weekly for the module and parents agreed to it.

She also discuss about the school supplies that we need to buy and explain everything from size to color.

After the discussion they started to form a class officer. It's already 10:00 AM that time and I want to go because I still need to cook for our lunch but I need to finished the orientation even if I am not interested on the nomination of the officer as they will only elect the famous and their friends and relatives there.

In the end of the orientation the teacher said to captured a groupie of all the parents and I am the one who wear navy blue in front.

The start of the school will begin on August 22 and since it's modular it's pretty convenient for me because I can teach my son in the comfort of our home but it's only temporary because we never know after a couple of months they will allowed the face to face classes.

That's all for today. Thank you for reading.
