It was like I was watching the whole thing, not just reading. Very descriptive and it flows very nicely.
The cab driver was right. It wasn't just a calm after the storm for him, it seems the beginning of the spring after that storm. 🙂

As a side note because you'll ask me about it 😛, there was a pronoun issue towards the end
