PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography Round 119 ~ Hidden Beauty in the World of Insects
Hello Hivers....
This post is my entry for a macro photography contest hosted by @Photofeed. If you would like to enter this contest, please read and follow the rules
The photo I am sharing shows a macro shot of a small insect perched on the tip of a budding flower. The insect appears to be a type of fly or small bee with a body pattern that resembles a wasp with black and yellow stripes on the abdomen and large, striking compound eyes. The natural beauty of the body pattern and transparent wings are captured in great detail, showing just how complex and amazing this little creature is.
This photo is not only beautiful in terms of aesthetics but also has scientific and educational value. In the world of insects, body color and pattern often function as a form of protection either to disguise themselves or scare away predators. In addition, insects like this often have an important role in the ecosystem, especially in helping the process of plant pollination.
Through this photo, let's better appreciate the micro life around us that often goes unnoticed. These simple-looking insects hold extraordinary uniqueness and beauty if we take the time to observe them more closely. Macro photography is a small window to understand the big world on a microscopic scale.
Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
