Hello Hivers...
The climb to Mount Seulawah Agam generally starts from the Seulimeum area, Aceh Besar Regency, precisely in the village of Suka Makmur to the Rimba Gate (Pinto Rimba). At the jungle gate or commonly called the concrete groove, climbers take water, because in this concrete groove is the last water supply for the Sulawah Agam climb. This route offers a fairly challenging track with dense forest, rocky paths, and steep climbs. The journey to the top usually takes around 5-7 hours depending on the physical condition of the climber. From the jungle gate we continued our journey to the wind gate (pinto angen), at the wind gate climbers usually rest for quite a long time, because the mountain winds start to be felt at the wind gate. In addition to the jungle gate and the wind gate, there are several interesting places encountered by climbers during the climb of Mount Seulawah Agam such as the seven banyan trees, elephant stones and stone stairs.
In addition to these places, along the way, climbers will be treated to a panorama of pristine tropical forests, the sound of wild birds, and the presence of flora and fauna typical of Sumatra. The peak offers spectacular views, including the landscape of Banda Aceh City and the Indian Ocean in the distance.
Mount Seulawah Agam is not only a place to conquer the peak, but also a destination for nature lovers who want to feel the tranquility and beauty of the Sumatran forest. For climbers, the experience of climbing this mountain will be an unforgettable adventure.
