Ebona, una joven aristócrata que tras ser abandonada por su mamá o al menos ella piensa de esa manera, ya que su papá por lo que ella recuerda él la maltrataba, vive una vida intentando encontrar alguien que la quiera, ya que sin poder recibir el cariño que merece por parte de sus padres, Ebona vive una vida algo complicada hasta que conoce a Gaspar, un hombre propenso a ser el próximo emperador, cree que con él tiene la vida resuelta, y que la quiere como ella desea, pero Gaspar simplemente se aprovecha de Ebona, ya que ella posee una buena habilidad como invocadora, que a diferencia de los magos, los invocadores son capaces de traer diferentes dioses para ser su apoyo en las batallas.

Ella creyendo que apoyando a Gaspar, haciendo que él sea considerado el mejor invocador, hacia todo bien por amor, pero un día descubre que este la engaña, y con su propio primo, al único que creía que apreciaba como familia, tras esto la vida de Ebona se vuelve un infierno hasta tal punto de perder la vida por ayudar a un hombre que no lo vale, pero por hechos del destino que no sabe en el momento a que se debe, cambia su vida hasta tal punto de retroceder al menos un año antes de que todo lo malo ocurriera, por lo que es una nueva oportunidad para empezar de cero.
